Cartagena Prime Tours
My name is David Romero Saenz and I am from Cartagena, Colombia where I grew up and I have lived all my life.
I speak English and French.
In 1986 I graduated as an Economist from University of Cartagena but it was until a year after when I really discovered what I wanted to be and do in my life .
That year I met a friend who was a tour guide and He invited me to go with him on a tour , this experience was so interested and full of learnings and discoveries about my city and its people , culture , food ,costumes, history, nature and much more, that I did not not hesitate and went straight to the tourism school to become what I am proud of being now one of the most experienced and knowledgeable tour guides in Cartagena.
When I first started I felt all the passion of showing others my city and my country and its people so I couldn`t picture myself doing something different from this.
I loved doing my job not only because I had the opportunity to show others how vast and diverse in( culture , music , ethic groups ,etc) , this city is, but also because I had the chance to show You the beauty of the sights in the city but the most rewarding that You would experience the real Cartagena.
Based on all this experience and knowledge I decided to design these tours for your full enjoyment and understanding of the city ( Cartagena de indias).
And here I am in these pictures, in the historical district of Cartagena ( World heritage site).
